Green Smoothie Recipe: My All Time Favorite, Banana and Spinach, Kids Friendly

Banana Spinach Green Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 Bananas roughly chopped
  • 1 Handful Spinach washed, roughly chopped
  • 1-2 Dates  (Optional as per taste. Must be soaked for 4 hours and de-seeded OR add date puree to taste)
  • 1/2 cup water or as required for consistency

Instructions
 

  • Add everything in a blender with half a cup of water and make a smooth paste.
  • Check consistency and add more water or ice and blend again till desired consistency is reached.

Notes

  1. You may or may not need to use the dates. This will depend on your taste buds and how ripe and sweet the fruits are.
  2. Make sure to remove the seeds from the dates before adding them to the blender.
