Yummy Mango Spinach Smoothie Recipe, Dairy Free, Sugar Free
Before I start with the smoothie recipe, I would like to share that the most ideal way to eat fruits is by not mixing with other food groups like vegetables or nuts.
However, it is OK to occasionally mix them with some green leafy vegetable and turn into a green smoothie. This is also a great way to include more greens in your diet.
Vegan smoothies are my favorite breakfast option. Not only they are healthy and delicious but they are super easy and quick to make.

Yummy Mango Spinach Smoothie
Here is one of my favorite smoothie recipe for summers. I can enjoy this everyday in the mango season.
Equipment
- Blender
Ingredients
- 2 Banana (large or 3 small) Feel free to use frozen banana for a creamier texture.
- 1 Mango
- 2 Handful Spinach
- 2-4 Dates (Optional as per taste. Must be soaked for 4 hours and de-seeded OR add date puree to taste)
- 1/2 cup Water (or more as desired for consistency)
Instructions
- Add everything in a blender with half a cup of water and make a smooth paste.
- Check consistency and add more water or ice and blend again till desired consistency is reached.
Notes
- In this or any other smoothie recipes, you can use fruits that have been frozen for 4-8 hours and then thawed for 5-10 minutes. This will give a creamier texture and super child smoothie without the need of ice-cubes.
- Make sure to remove the seeds from the dates before adding them to the blender.
- You may or may not need to use the dates. This will depend on your taste buds and how ripe and sweet the fruits are.
