rice
white, brown, millet

almonds
kagzi badam in paryushan

water

Poha/Flat Rice

green cardamom, skin removed and powdered
jaggery powder to taste

almonds, slivered
for garnish
Instructions
soak rice and almonds in 2 separate bowls for 6 hours each
after 6 hours, drain the water
blend rice with 1 cup fresh water and sieve in a cheesecloth to get rice milk
blend almonds with 2 cup fresh water and sieve in a cheesecloth to get almond milk
mix both the milks
in a heavy bottom pan, dry roast the poha until golden brown
add the milk mixture, cardamom powder and jaggery powder and cook until it becomes like a pudding consistency
your dessert is ready, garnish with slivered almonds.
can be served hot or cold.
